“Composer, technologist, trumpet player, shaver, Jeff Kaiser premieres his new work for trumpet, flugelhorn, voice, and electronics: ZEITNOT V, and; Music for Electronics, Electric Razor, and Hairy Object. This music was all performed live, meaning no prerecorded elements and no post-processing: everything you hear is what Jeff was hearing through his headphones performing live at his home studio. Sometimes the signal processing does not pass any of the direct sound of the instruments, so all you hear is the way they are changed by his software.
