What a great, albeit too brief, visit from Takuro. In addition to being a turntablist, experimental musician/performer…he is also the artistic director for STEIM, one of my favorite places ever, really. He gave a wonderful performance, followed by a lecture that was quite interesting and thought-provoking….particularly for me: “instrument building as musical practice”….great stuff. Not much time to blog, but here are some pics….
