Etched Tread of Charcoal Teeth, April 29, 2017 and more

Jacob Sentgeorge and I have been collaborating on a piece—Etched Tread of Charcoal Teeth—for solo voice and a new instrument called the KaiserDrifter, based on four instantiations of Michael Norris’s amazing Spindrift and SIXTEEN of bubbler by Tom Erbe. The instrument is built in Max and controlled by an Ableton Push 2. The text is an amazing poem by Kathryn Nuernberger, about Paul Klee and his puppets…

This work has several dates coming up, I will update this post as I learn more.
